About Bright Knight Technologies

A premium MSP
built around trust.

Bright Knight Technologies is a Salt Lake City-based managed service provider founded on the conviction that small and mid-sized businesses deserve the same caliber of cybersecurity, engineering, and accountability that Fortune-500 companies pay millions for.

We don't believe in nickel-and-dime billing, junior call-center triage, or treating security as an upgrade. We believe in doing things right the first time, communicating clearly, and standing behind our work.

Our Mission

To make enterprise-grade cybersecurity
accessible to every Utah business.

We exist because the gap between what small businesses need and what they're being sold is dangerous. Our mission is to close that gap — with senior engineers, layered defense, and unflinching honesty.

01

Security as a Birthright

Every Bright Knight client — regardless of tier — gets layered defense. Not as an upsell. Not as a checkbox. As the floor.

02

Premium Without Pretense

Premium means doing it right the first time, with senior people, and explaining what we did and why. It doesn't mean obscuring complexity for higher invoices.

03

Long-Term Over Quick Wins

We build relationships, not transactions. Documented playbooks, quarterly reviews, and proactive recommendations are the standard — because earned trust compounds.

What We Stand For

Five values that shape every engagement.

Security First

Every recommendation, every architecture decision, every line item starts with the question: does this make our client harder to compromise?

Transparency Always

You'll always know what we're doing in your environment, what we're recommending, and why. No black boxes, no surprise invoices.

Senior By Default

The engineer who scopes your environment is the engineer who supports it. No bait-and-switch from sales engineer to junior tech.

Documentation Over Heroics

If a process isn't documented in our knowledge base, it doesn't exist. Reliability comes from playbooks, not from one person remembering everything.

Right-Sized Recommendations

We're not here to maximize your invoice. We're here to recommend what your environment actually needs — and tell you when something doesn't.

The Bright Knight Story

Built deliberately. Operating responsibly.

2026

Bright Knight Technologies, LLC formed

Legal foundation built first — LLC, EIN, business banking, insurance, Microsoft CSP partnership, master service agreements, and SLA structure all in place before client one.

Stack Validation

Hunt Electric live deployment

Full stack validated in real-world enterprise environment: NinjaOne, Huntress, Acronis, Hudu, DNSFilter, M365. Documented playbooks become proof-of-concept credibility.

Q2 2026

Three-tier service model finalized

Knight, Guardian, Sentinel — each tier substantively differentiated by depth of security, not just licensing reshuffles. Pricing benchmarked against the SLC market.

Now

Onboarding founding clients

Selectively onboarding businesses where security maturity is a strategic priority, not just a compliance checkbox. Every onboarding becomes a documented case study.

Next

NOC-in-a-Box and Sentinel SIEM

Building the centralized security operations pipeline — Wazuh SIEM, Grafana monitoring, automated alerting into HaloPSA — to scale 24/7 defense across the client base.

About the Founder

A career engineered for this moment.

Jimmie Puzey founded Bright Knight Technologies after a career that traced an unusual line — sales, civil engineering, drafting, and IT leadership. That breadth produced a founder who thinks about technology the way executives do: as a tool for business outcomes, not as an end in itself.

As IT Director at a mid-sized Utah contractor, Jimmie operates a live production environment that doubles as Bright Knight's validation lab. Every tool we recommend has been battle-tested in a real business before it ever touches a client network.
